Leadership starts with relationships.
With yourself, your team and your organisation.
I am Rosana Kleinlugtebeld: psychologist, mediator and executive coach. I work with leaders and teams under pressure, moving between cultures, or stuck in how they work together.

- Psychologist (NIP)
- Mediator and executive coach
- In-house psychologist at EMA
- Eight years as psychologist at the JRC
- Own practice since 2013
When the work is right, but the collaboration isn't.
Most of the questions I receive are not about knowledge. They are about relationships under strain. A leadership team working past each other. A leader carrying everything and losing themselves. A conflict left unresolved for too long.
I help you see the underlying patterns and dynamics, and give you practical tools to change them. Grounded in psychology, with an eye for what happens between people and cultures.

Personal
At home in more than one culture.
My Indonesian-Dutch heritage taught me how differently people deal with hierarchy, conflict, directness and loyalty, and how quickly misunderstandings arise from that. My neurodivergent perspective helps me approach situations holistically, bringing together different viewpoints, experiences and needs.
I am the in-house psychologist at the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and for eight years I worked as a psychologist at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Petten. Together with the Chief Confidential Counsellor of the European Commission, I worked on the communication campaign against harassment in the workplace. I am also a trainer, speaker and coach for European institutions, and I supervise Confidential Counsellors.

What clients say
She has helped me and some of the colleagues I work most closely with by finding simple ways to adjust how we approach each other, and even work itself. I only wish I had started working with her sooner.

Sebastian · Leadership coaching Rosana facilitated a three-day consortium meeting for an EC project in Antwerp. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and heard. Having her there was a real asset.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a coaching programme take?
An executive coaching programme runs for three, six or twelve months. In our introduction we decide together what fits your question.
Do you work online and in English?
Yes. I work from Alkmaar and online, with clients in the Netherlands and abroad. Sessions are in Dutch or English.
Is what we discuss confidential?
Always. Confidentiality and integrity are the foundation of my work, in coaching as well as in mediation.
What is a Hogan assessment?
A scientifically grounded personality instrument that gives insight into your values, your behaviour under pressure and your leadership style.
When should we choose mediation over legal action?
When you want to preserve the relationship. Mediation is faster and less costly than legal proceedings, and keeps the conflict within the organisation.
