Mountain Lake Terms and Conditions
Please kindly read our terms and conditions carefully.
Mountain Lake Coaching is owned by Rosana Kleinlugtebeld, Executive Coach. In choosing the Mountain Lake Coaching service, we endeavour to help you or your team to reach specified goals as discussed. These goals are in line with your professional and personal development and all coaching sessions will take place mainly through a series of confidential online meetings and conversations.
The agreement formed includes online meetings, conversations and support. Some information will be communicated through emails subject to the Terms and Conditions as set out below.
All goals will be determined at the initial stage by you (and/or your team) and the coach.
The Coaching Agreement
You agree to be bound by Mountain Lake Coaching’s Terms of Conditions as set out below.
Coaching Timeline
At the initial stage of the agreement you will agree on a series of coaching sessions together with the coach. The Terms and Conditions of executive coaching are hereby incorporated by reference. They form an essential part of the Coaching Agreement.
Should conflict arise, the Terms of this Agreement will apply as follows:
- The Coaching Agreement.
- The Terms and Conditions relating to client coaching.
- General Terms and Conditions.
Refunds
The client may change their mind within 14 days from booking date to receive a full refund. If coaching has begun already (including online conversations and supply of digital content) and commences before the 14 days has elapsed, in agreeing this contract, the client (you) must acknowledge that you agree to losing your right of cancellation.
Coaching Sessions
Coaching sessions occur online through visual meetings in a confidential environment or over the telephone. Occasionally, and location-dependent, some coaching sessions may occur face-to-face as mutually agreed.
Duration of Coaching Sessions
Sessions are held weekly, monthly or twice per month. Sessions last 60 minutes each unless otherwise agreed. Coachees must be punctual for all sessions.
The Time of Sessions
Session times are agreed at initial booking and may only be changed with agreement from the coach with at least hours’ notice. If less than 90 minutes notice is given, the session will be cancelled and cannot be carried forward or refunded. If the coach needs to cancel a session, the session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Coach Credentials
Mountain Lake Coaching guarantees that the coach involved in your (the client’s) sessions is qualified on academic level as an executive coach.
Before Each Coaching Session
Coachees must come to each coaching session prepared, fulfilling any work required prior to the session in order to maximise the benefits, to learn and to progress. Should you (the client) be unable to complete any pre-session tasks, you must make the coach aware so that any future coaching sessions can be amended to take this into account.
The Approach to Coaching
You (the client) recognises that Executive Coaching is not therapy or counselling. Neither does it function as a consultancy or advisory. However, during coaching, themes may relate to life experiences, learning and work projects. Additionally, sessions may include values, brainstorming, career planning, leadership planning (this list is not exhaustive).
Health and Wellbeing
Some coaching sessions may be challenging, both emotionally and physically. There may be occasions where you (the client) feels frustrated, or anxious. This is part of Executive Coaching, and it is advised that all sessions are scheduled to ensure you (the client) is in the right metal physical and emotional mindset for maximum input and output. Should this not be the case, please cancel your session and rearrange it at a later date, taking into account the strict 48-hour cancellation rule.
Liability
Coachees/clients will not hold Mountain Lake Coaching liable for any loss, liability, claim or cost incurred by you (the client), and/or your team whether directly or indirectly relating to the Executive Coaching sessions. This includes (without limitation) mental and physical stress, emotional stress or distress or other condition. In the event of a claim relating to the aforementioned, you will indemnify Mountain Lake Coaching. The exclusions shall not apply as they are prohibited by law.
Intellectual Property
You (the client) will not reproduce any information provided by Mountain Lake Coaching. This includes disclosing the processes, the techniques used, any presentations, methodologies or other materials used by the Executive Coach during the activities in the coaching sessions. You will not use any of the above materials or processes, techniques, presentations, methodologies or other for any other purpose other than for your own benefit. You will keep Mountain Lake Coaching indemnified relating to any loss or damage should you breach this Intellectual Property clause.
Personal Information
As part of Executive Coaching, it may be necessary to request personal details or deal with confidential or sensitive information that personally relates to you. This information may need to be passed to your Executive Coach to facilitate successful coaching sessions. Mountain Lake Coaching will not disclose any such information to anyone outside of this agreement, including third parties without your express consent.
Defamation
Any defamation, slander and threats towards Mountain Lake Coaching and any employees will not be tolerated and result in the immediate removal of you (the client), and/or your team/members from our programmes should this occur. Our Executive Coaches reserve the right to raise any problems during coaching sessions if it is felt that the reputation of Mountain Lake Coaching and its employees, and participants is under threat.
